MICHELLE Collins has revealed she’s going to give EastEnders bosses a challenge as she’s only able to film scenes while sitting down following a nasty fall.
The actress,63, who plays Cindy Beale in the soap, found herself leaving hospital with crutches and bandages following a fall over Easter weekend.
Sharing the news to Instagram, Michelle tagged the soap as she told them she wouldn’t be able to walk around work this week due to the injury.
It’s not known how long Michelle will remain in crutches.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Michelle revealed she had taken a trip to hospital following the fall – which happened as she attempted to chase after her dog, Peggy.
She wrote: “Fell over trying to stop Peggy bolting out the door while staying with friends in Norfolk bashed my knee, cuts and bruises .
“Staff were great , #efficient#kind despite apparently very low on hospital league table I would never have known from the service I got
“Seems so unfair to label a hospital like this not great for morale as one of the lovely nurses said.
“Also went to my local hospital @Finchleymemorialhospital who were great too ! So lucky to have them so near me .
“Happy Easter 🐣 xx Sitting down scenes this week ! @bbceastenders”.
Michelle also shared a picture of herself using a wheelchair inside the hospital, alongside one on crutches as she returned home.
The dog-related accident was made all the worse as the star was in Norfolk to spread her other dog Humphrey’s ashes on the beach he loved.
She revealed the sad loss back in March, with Michelle losing Humphrey after 16 years together.
In an emotional statement, Michelle wrote on Instagram: “I cannot begin to describe how much joy he has brought into our lives”.
“It is truly heart wrenching that he will no longer be there when I open my front door, wake up in the morning or go to sleep at night.
