In forthcoming scenes on Neighbours, Aaron Brennan will learn what his spouse David Tanaka has been keeping hidden from him, as David’s major secret is finally revealed.
Since he and Freya Wozniak (Phoebe Roberts) decided not to try to heal a badly injured Gareth Bateman (Jack Pearson) after the criminal’s reign of terror at River Bend came to an end in an accident, David (Takaya Honda) has been plagued with remorse. Gareth died as a result of his injuries.
David’s dissatisfaction with the incident’s aftermath has been compounded by the fact that he has been getting anonymous, threatening notes from someone who claims to know what he did, and despite his charges, he is still no closer to discovering who his blackmailer is.

David’s dissatisfaction with the incident’s aftermath has been compounded by the fact that he has been getting anonymous, threatening notes from someone who claims to know what he did, and despite his charges, he is still no closer to discovering who his blackmailer is.
Aaron (Matt Wilson) will uncover one of David’s mysterious blackmailer’s notes in scenes set to air next week in the UK and next month in Australia, and he will demand an answer.
Before flying off in search of Freya for answers, David is obliged to disclose everything to his husband, and Aaron is left reeling by the shocking disclosures.
When he’s left alone, David is concerned that Aaron will never look at him the same way again.
When Aaron returns, David is reassured that he still loves him and that they will be able to get through this together.
However, things aren’t looking good for the pair later in the week, as the blackmailer continues to demand money as the ransom date approaches.
Aaron, David, and Freya pull together what they can, but they are still perilously short on the funds required, and the trio considers pawning some of their most valuable possessions.
Freya, on the other hand, has a strange alternative up her sleeve. She is adamant about not using it, but desperate times demand desperate means.
Will Freya’s suggestion be sufficient to save her and David from further exposure?
