Neighbours reveals shocking accident for Glen Donnelly

Glen Donnelly was involved in a shocking collision, which could result in catastrophic injuries, according to Neighbours.

Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) is concerned about the uneasy dynamic at the vineyard, which has become strained following the revelation that Kiri Hua Durant (Gemma Bird Matheson) is Glen’s long-lost daughter, in scenes airing next week in the UK and in June in Australia.

Glen (Richard Huggett), feeling responsible for the awkwardness, tries to rectify the situation by taking on even more labour at the vineyard.

Unfortunately, Glen pushes himself too far, resulting in a dangerous mishap that traps him beneath a huge barrel. Glen is in desperate straits, completely alone and unable to move.

Thankfully, Leo discovers him and goes to Glen’s help, freeing him from beneath the barrel.

Glen is transported to the hospital, where he fears he has sustained lasting harm.

His predicament becomes even more difficult when he is offered opiate pain medication, which he declines because he is afraid of becoming addicted to it because of his past of alcoholism.

Glen is determined to push through the discomfort without assistance, but how long will he be able to do so?

Thanks to Glen’s half-brother Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) publicising the truth about Glen being her father to everyone, Kiri recently found the truth about Glen being her father.

Glen’s actor Richard told Digital Spy that Glen will be so enraged with Paul that this incident might mean “the end of their relationship as brothers” and that he doesn’t believe Glen will ever forgive him.

Richard believes that “there is a potential that Glen and Kiri can start getting along again,” but that it will take time for them to adjust to their genuine relationship being disclosed.
