Could the force that is Storm Zara (Freya Van Dyke) blowing through Neighbours sink Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) and Hendrix (Benny Turlandlittle )’s love boat after all the ups and downs?
Zara’s middle name means trouble, and when she’s not ruining her mother’s relationships, she’s feeding vodka to a youngster, setting off fire alarms, bullying teachers, and who knows what else. She does anything she wants, and it appears that Hendrix is the latest obsession.
Mackenzie is about to make a major life decision, deciding that she’s had enough of straining under the pressure at Number Thirty and that it’s time to move on. Toadie gives her the thumbs up, and she accepts, realizing she’s ready to strike off on her own. This has completely absorbed her attention, and she is oblivious to the fact that someone is encroaching on her territory.
Zara is moving in on her man while she is preoccupied with her future plans. Zara does the old classic of being so narcissistic that she feels Hendrix worships the earth she walks on when he is good to her. She completely misinterprets his behavior and feels he’s extending an offer to her, which she eagerly accepts. When Hendrix comes to Zara’s defense over something and refuses to turn his back on her, Mackenzie is stunned. Has he developed feelings for her as well?
Zara is thirsty for attention and does something that puts her on the wrong side of the law. Will Mackenzie learn the truth, and will this be the end of her relationship with Hendrix?
