As old loves Ned Willis (Ben Hall) and Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer) reunite in Sydney, romance could boil once more in Neighbours.
Last year, the former couple divorced, and Yashvi left Erinsborough, requesting a transfer to Sydney.
Meanwhile, Ned stayed entrenched on Ramsay Street, where he started dating Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton) and later Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan).
As fans know, the truth about his affair with Harlow was revealed during Fashion Week, and Amy was devastated.
Ned was unclear if he wanted a future with Harlow because of the manner the relationship was revealed, and given what he did to Amy, he was in a pickle.
Roxy (Zima Anderson), on the other hand, gave him some sound counsel, encouraging him to leave Erinsborough and start over somewhere else.
Ned eventually followed her advise, and on Tuesday’s (May 10) episode of the serial drama, he said his goodbyes to his loved ones in tearful scenes.
He received a text from Yashvi, who had been alerted of his decision to leave, before getting into the cab.
She suggested that since they’ll both be in Sydney, they should catch up.
She wrote, ‘I hear you’re heading my way.’ ‘Let’s get caught up.’
Ned smiled as he read the text message, clearly excited at the possibility of reconnecting with his ex, and he walked away from Ramsay Street.
Could he and Yashvi renew their romance now that they meet in Sydney?
Both characters are set to return for the show’s final episode, so it’s certainly a possibility!
