Terese is due for a rude awakening when her mother arrives in town, while Glen is involved in a dangerous accident after pushing himself too far.
These scenes will premiere in the United Kingdom on Monday, May 23rd, and in Australia on Monday, June 20th.
This week, Kiri’s (Gemma Bird Matheson) world was flipped completely upside down when Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) mercilessly disclosed that Glen (Richard Huggett) was her biological father.
Kiri grew up with her mother, Barbara (Wendy Mocke), and her mother’s husband, Alan, whom she mistook for her father. In actuality, she was the result of her mother’s two-decade-old affair with Glen, a fact Barbara had hoped to keep concealed forever.
Since Kiri’s arrival in Erinsborough in March, Glen has been desperately attempting to keep the news a secret, but Paul eventually learned the truth with the help of Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) and John Wong (Harry Tseng).
Paul sought vengeance on Glen by disclosing the secret to Kiri at the vineyard, believing his half-brother Glen and ex-wife Terese were together.
Kiri was understandably heartbroken, and the issue was exacerbated when Terese accidently exposed the truth to Alan, mistakingly believing that Barbara had already informed her husband.
While Kiri and Glen have now had time to talk things over, and Kiri has hinted that they may be able to resolve their differences in the future, things remain unpleasant for the time being.
When the atmosphere at the vineyard remains tense the next week, Leo (Tim Kano) becomes apprehensive.
Glen feels guilty because Leo gave him a lifeline when he first arrived in Erinsborough by offering him a position at the vineyard, and he doesn’t want his personal problems to get in the way of his work.
So, in an effort to make amends, he begins to overwork himself by taking on more and more work.
He’s in serious trouble on his own.
Thankfully, Leo finds Glen lying on the floor and brings him to the hospital, but Glen is concerned that he has sustained irreversible harm.
The physicians offer him opiate pain medication, but he declines because of his history of alcohol addiction.
He’s determined to fight through the discomfort on his own, but it’s evident he’ll struggle.
How long will Glen be able to cope before accepting the painkillers, and will he be able to avoid becoming addicted?
Terese and Paul’s divorce processes are still in the works.
Terese, on the other hand, is enraged when she learns that Paul has been hiding assets while he prepares for the divorce. She starts looking for a means to retaliate against him, but she realises she can’t go as low as he has.
She’s so focused on Paul that she’s taken aback when she sees Estelle (Maria Mercedes), her estranged mother!
Estelle claims to be in town to help her get through this difficult period, but Terese is torn between her feelings about their reunion after so many years. She seeks answers from her brother Nick, and discovers Estelle’s genuine motivation: she is homeless.
Terese is hurt and tries to rebuild their connection, but can she ever trust her mother?
