Freya, a hospital nurse, and her husband Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), a doctor, have been stressing over how to meet the demands of a blackmailer.
Freya and David are being blackmailed because of what happened at River Bend to Freya’s ex-boyfriend, Gareth Bateman.
The blackmailer will reveal their secret unless they hand over a large sum of money.
They pondered pawning several priceless objects as they battled to raise the whole amount of money last week, but then Freya had an idea…

Later she tracks out her estranged brother Zane and begs him for the money needed to keep the secret hidden.

Kiri Durant (Gemma Bird Matheson) has recently moved into Chloe Brennan’s (April Rose Pengilly) apartment, so Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes) throws a welcome party for her.
She isn’t doing it out of the goodness of her heart, however… She’s hoping it’ll help her reconnect with the girl she had a brief relationship with on the doomed River Bend trip.
