RARELY seen Home and Away star Tessa James looked unrecognisable 14 years after quitting fame for a very normal career.
The actress, 34, stepped away from the spotlight after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2014.



The former TV star looks very different to her teenage days, where she often rocking the famous Summer Bay uniform.
Her social media posts usually see her wearing minimal makeup which showcases her natural beauty with her bright blue eyes piercing.
Tessa has remained largely out of the public eye after she was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 23, having discovered a lump above her collarbone in 2014.
The soap star sought advice from fellow Australian Delta Goodrem, who was also diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2002.
“My life stopped, to be honest. I think for any 23-year-old, their life is moving pretty quickly,” she told Mamamia.
“You’re working a lot of things out, you’re trying new things, you’re just busy, making the most of your life. And my life just stopped.”
Tessa underwent six months of chemotherapy and was cancer-free by 2020.
She made the decision to step back from the world of acting to pursue a very different job as an interior designer.
Tessa has taken inspiration from her mum and sister who are both interior architects.
The former actress is now the Director and Head of Communications at AKI Design of her family’s business.
Tessa is married to Nate Myles in 2011 and share sons Saynt, seven, Jaguar, four, London, three, and their youngest son, one.

The star also enjoyed success in other shows like Beaconsfield, Love Child, and Spin Out.
