More insane than ever, Joel Deering (Calum Lill) decides to put Roy Cropper (David Neilson) in grave danger after realizing he has nothing to lose in Coronation Street the following week.
Due to a lack of solid evidence, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) and DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) battled mightily to have Joel jailed when the truth about him surfaced.
DS Then, Swain’s supervisor told her that Joel’s case will be closed. Due to this upsetting news, Swain and Dee-Dee began working covertly together, risking everything to bring Joel down.
Joel returns to his past romance with Dee-Dee in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap opera.
He approaches with their wedding rings and, declaring that he still loves her, says the rings are a reminder of everything he’s lost.
In the week, Lauren (Cait Fitton) finds Dee-Dee and reveals that she’s been following him a lot on a tracker app. Lauren goes on to confirm that Joel has spent a lot of time in a field, then an industrial park and to top it off, has just transferred her £5,000.
Clearly up to something, Joel is then seen opening a notebook and writing a letter – on the same day he was meant to marry Dee-Dee.
Heading back to Weatherfield, Joel stumbles into the café and finds Roy all alone.
The evil solicitor is holding a bottle of whiskey and is clearly very drunk. He locks the door and stares at Roy – what will happen next?
