Todd Grimshaw Sparks Romance Rumors as Corrie Star Teases Reunion with Past Love

Corrie’s stunning Given that a past romantic interest might be making a comeback to the cobbles, Todd Grimshaw might finally find love.

Devoted viewers of the ITV soap opera will remember that Todd briefly dated Moses Ekundayo (played by Michael Fatogun) after the latter arrived as Paul Foreman’s (Peter Ash) personal assistant.

But their budding romance was nipped in the bud thanks to Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) kicking up a fuss about her son’s care and Moses got the sack. Following this kerfuffle, Moses scarpered off to London and has been missing from our screens ever since.

But is there about to be a romantic reunion between Todd and Moses?

Gareth Pierce, who’s brought Todd to life since 2020 after taking the baton from Bruno Langley, has dropped some juicy goss to, about his storyline. The news comes after Corrie boss Iain MacLeod hinted at a happy-ever-after for the duo.

Soap actor Gareth explained: “We tried to instil as much spark as we could in that short-ish time that the characters were together. What Iain said is that it’s got potential for Moses to maybe feel like the one that got away.”

Gareth also teased that there might be a romantic plot twist coming up where Todd reunites with Moses. He added: “There have been references to the fact that he’s getting on now. Todd is going to be 40 in January next year, so there’s been the odd reference to ‘still living at home, nearly 40’.”

Coronation Street star Iain has revealed that Todd Grimshaw’s love life in the pipeline. Speaking last October, shortly before Moses’ introduction, Iain told: “There’s a dalliance for Todd, but it arrives at quite a poor time. And the person with whom he has the connection is probably not ideal in terms of the situation that Todd meets them in.

“At this time, it’s only a little test drive of his relationship with this person. It’s not very long running, but we thought that if we like what we see, it might go on to be long-running later on.”
