According to Y&R spoilers, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is acting with a personal grudge. However, his narrow-mindedness prevents him from realizing that his attempt to destroy Jabot will have unintended consequences. Audrey Charles (Zuleyka Silver) recently confided in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that she had a bad feeling about Glissade, and she blamed her feelings on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) vicious reputation and Kyle’s mistrust of her.
Once a pairing of convenience that can’t be termed romantic, Kyle and Audra are now the Odd Couple. They are no longer attracted to each other and don’t want to work together but are being forced to do so.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Guiding Light
The reference in the subject header is a wink to the longest-running soap opera in the history of the United States. Guiding Light ran for a combined 72 years on radio and then television.
Nate can be Audra’s guiding light if she does more than listen to his wise advice. He cares for her and is encouraging a reevaluation of this Glissade effort.
She recently confided in him, revealing that Victor is the company’s secret backer. That choice will likely combine with others to spell the end of Audra’s days with the cosmetics company Victor intends to build and aim at Jabot.
Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman Has Options
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) wants to make peace with Kyle for their son’s sake. Kyle is softening, partially due to Victor’s urging, and may meet Summer halfway.
It would be best for Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) to remain equally connected to his parents. Summer wants that to happen, and, for the moment, Kyle appears to agree.
However, Summer has Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), which means she is not hoping to reunite with Kyle. Mealor’s character dumped her and threw their marriage away.
So, Summer’s options mean she is not operating purely on emotion. If Kyle is smart, he will do the same.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Wins All
Victor set himself up to win under any circumstance. Kyle and Audra are useful pawns. As long as they remain so, he will employ them.
So, Kyle and Audra will both likely lose. Their usefulness will run its course in time. Betting odds would favor Audra, who is a greater shark.
But Kyle has learned a trick or two from his father and has been sharpened on the business front as he’s approached middle age. He is making a mistake in underestimating Audra.
Persisting with that naive approach could hasten his end at Glissade. Audra’s tenure is something she’s already concerned about. That outlook appears to put her ahead of Kyle.
