General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Proves Britt Doesn’t Have Huntington’s Disease – Uncovers Victor’s Genetic Marker Trick?

Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) may unearth Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) Huntington’s illness manipulation, according to General Hospital (GH) spoilers. Will Austin be able to show that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) does not, in fact, carry the genetic marker?

Victor has spoken a few odd things that could indicate to Britt’s phony diagnosis. There are several reasons to believe Britt and her mother were tricked.

Under the premise of a medical symposium for genetic disorders, Victor enticed Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to St. Lucia.

Victor later admitted to Liesl that he was aware of Britt’s Huntington disease marker and that she had yet to show symptoms.

Victor then tried to manipulate Obrecht into doing his bidding.

Victor exploited the prospect of seeing Britt as blackmail, acting as if Liesl should want to spend as much time as she could with her only surviving kid.

Of course, we have to wonder why Victor’s deception was so focused on Britt and Huntington’s disease connection.

How did Victor know about that – and how did he know Britt didn’t have any symptoms, given that Britt experienced some tremors that weren’t linked to the diagnosis?

There are indications that Victor worked along with the Canadian doctor who provided Britt’s test results.

After all, Victor only recently discovered Louise August’s true identity as “Bailey Quartermaine” (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt).

How had Victor been so up to date on Britt the whole time, especially when piecing together the jigsaw of Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) daughter took so long?

Maybe it’s because Victor manufactured Britt’s whole situation!

If Victor simply made it appear that Britt had the Huntington’s disease marker, there may have been nothing to figure out.

That brings us to the interaction between Britt and Austin in the January 25 episode.

Austin got the impression that Britt was keeping quiet about a medical condition in her family after she finally acknowledged to having a sibling on the spectrum.

Austin assumed it was Britt’s turn to spill the beans, but Victor intervened, delaying Britt’s possible confession.

There’s a reason the program tries to keep Victor in Britt and Austin’s sphere of influence.

We should also mention how strange it was in the January 26 episode when Victor essentially mocked Britt about her Huntington’s sickness.

Britt denied possessing it, but the broadcast focused on the phony symposium and Victor’s all-too-convenient information.

Austin might be the one to unearth Britt’s fake Huntington’s disease sign when the time comes.

Despite his interest in Maxie Jones, the GH writers appear to be toying with the idea of a Britt and Austin relationship (Kirsten Storms).

With that in mind, what better way to bring them closer together than for Austin to save Britt?

Imagine how liberated Britt would feel if Austin could prove her Huntington’s condition wasn’t real.

Britt would be incredibly thankful to Austin, and as a result, she could fall deeply for him.

We’ll offer updates as other GH news becomes available.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Austin’s love life will take some unexpected turns, so a Britt romance could still be in his future.
