Blake Garvey chose Sam Frost in the season two finale of The Bachelor, only to leave her for second runner-up Louise Pillidge shortly after the broadcast aired, quickly becoming Australia’s most despised man. Sam, on the other hand, got the last laugh when the jilted reality star went on to become the country’s first Bachelorette. Meanwhile, in April 2016, Blake and Louise called it quits on their relationship.
Sasha Mielczarek
When Sam Frost chose the ruggedly gorgeous Sasha Mielczarek in The Bachelorette finale in 2015, hearts melted. The fairytale ending, however, was not to last, as they called off their high-profile romance 18 months later.
Michael Turnbull
On The Bachelorette, there were a lot of men vying for Sam’s love. However, it was controversial former soccer player Michael Turnbull who came the closest to winning before losing in the final as runner-up. Sam dated former Home and Away star Paul O’Brien in 2011 before appearing on The Bachelor. When Sam was later placed on the same soap, he made a subtle dig by acknowledging that he could understand why certain performers were unhappy with the casting decision.
“There are so many actors who are struggling just to get an agent, just to get noticed, so I can see the frustration,” he said.
Dane Rampe
Did they or didn’t they? It was a typical example. Sam reneged on her claim that she was dating Sydney Swans star Dane Rampe in early 2015.
During an appearance on the Today Show she admitted: “He’ll probably be running far, far away.”
“I put my foot in it with Dane, he’s a great guy, the whole thing blew up into more than it has.”
Dave Bashford
Sam said she was dating longtime pal Dave Bashford in mid-2017. For the nearly three years that they were together, the couple kept their relationship pretty quiet, only occasionally posting lovey-dovey photos on Instagram.
Sadly, in July 2020, a rep for Sam confirmed these two had officially split.
“Sam Frost and Dave Bashford are no longer in a relationship. They remain great mates,” the spokesperson said.
Jay Bruno
Sam and Jay kept their relationship a secret until he and her younger brother, Alex, participated on Australian Survivor. He explained why they “simply didn’t work” to Sydney Confidential ahead of his appearance on the show.
“It is obviously hard because you feel for the other person, but people just break up sometimes and I didn’t want to lead her on so I have moved on,” he said “It is pretty simple, I just guess I couldn’t see a future with her.”
However, the former flames remain friends.
During a recent interview with Stellar Sam revealed she’s “casually seeing someone,” and candidly discussed relationship anxiety.
“I self-sabotage,” she said while discussing her mystery man. “I’ll distance myself, so before they can hurt me, I’ll say, ‘I’m just going to go.’ I have to consciously not let old habits affect things. It’s a practice. It takes a lot of hard work.
Sam revealed to Fitzy and Wippa on March 29 that she is dating her little brother Alex’s (pictured) buddy and Survivor co-star Jordie Hansen.
Sam spilt on Alex’s reaction, saying: “When I bailed my brother up and I was like ‘Oi is he single or what?’ and then he was like ‘ah don’t be weird.’ He’s like ‘you’re so embarrassing!'”
“He’s younger. I’m a little cougar you know.”
In early April 2022, Sam went Instagram official with Jordie by sharing this sweet photo.
“Funniest human I’ve ever met ? @jordie.hansen thank you for making me so happy, I’m a very lucky woman xx,” she penned.
