Charlie Wernham, who portrays Aaron Monroe on EastEnders, has married his EastEnders co-star Emma Collis.
The couple married at Essex’s Gosfield Hall wedding venue – and his former Hollyoaks co-stars verified the news by sharing photographs from the big day on social media.
Jessica Ellis shared a snapshot of Charlie and Emma seated together at the top table during the wedding reception on her Instagram page.
“Well thank you very much Mr. and Mrs. Wenham for the most amazing day!” she wrote. “We feel so honored to have been part of your special day!”
Daisy Wood-Davis and Luke Jerdy, real-life pair Daisy Wood-Davis and Luke Jerdy, both former Hollyoaks stars, shared well-wishes for the newlyweds on Instagram, along with a handful of photos of them together at the venue.
In a combined post, the pair wrote, “Celebrating Mr & Mrs. Wernham’s happily ever after.”
Daisy also posted some photographs and videos on Instagram Stories, including a shot of the newlyweds descending the venue’s staircase to acclaim and cheers from their guests.
Charlie and Emma have been together for nearly seven years and were engaged on Valentine’s Day last year.
Charlie was a frequent Hollyoaks cast member from 2013 and 2016, playing Robbie Roscoe, before joining EastEnders last year.
His prior television appearances include Bad Education, The Inbetweeners, and Britain’s Got Talent, where he performed stand-up comedy and reached the semi-finals in 2008.
