There’s nothing quite like a sibling bond. Sarah Roberts, who starred in the TV show Home and Away, has proven that she and her younger sister Lauren are inseparable.
The 37-year-old actress shared numerous sweet throwback images of the duo from their youth on Instagram on Monday, and they might be mistaken for twins!
“Happy birthday to my beauty inside and out sis,” Sarah wrote alongside the series of pics from the late ’80s and early ’90s.
Sarah and Lauren were dressed in matching nautical outfits with gorgeous bows in their hair in one of the photographs. In another, the sisters wore puffy silk robes and gazed fondly at each other.
She also uploaded current photos of herself and Lauren having fun at a resort pool and on a sister dinner date.
Following the death of their older brother Karl in 2019, the sisters’ bond grew even deeper.
Karl lost away unexpectedly after a 15-year struggle with brain cancer.
Sarah posted a photo of herself and Lauren kissing Karl’s cheeks in October 2020, writing: “Cheers to the big boss, head honcho, big squirt, and (wait for it…) grandmaster (as he preferred to be called!)
“You would’ve been 46 today! We are all so grateful for you. I feel you beside me when beauty brightens, when kindness glows & when music echoes.
“Love and miss you like crazy every day. #bigsquirt ??,” the actress signed off the post.
The much-loved Home and Away alum, who is married to fellow Summer Bay star James Stewart, announced her brother’s death in October 2019.
“Three months ago today he walked me down the aisle and now he is walking with the angels. I’m left with a hole in my heart and 34 years of beautiful memories, growing up together as children into adults,” the actress said at the time.
