General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) may be pulling off the ultimate deception!
Is that really zincite, the mineral used to make the Deception wonder product “The Deceptor” he’s moving through the piers, or is it really something else?
Maxie And Tracy Demanded An Audit, And Now Lucy’s Asking Questions
GH fans might remember that it was right after Sidwell started supplying zincite to Deception Cosmetics that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) passed out and Sidwell joined the company.
The substance he poisoned the cream Maxie had just applied to her face with was untraceable, and the diagnosis was a heart attack-she flatlined, followed by a several-month coma.
When Maxie woke up and returned, both she and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) demanded an audit of all shipments coming in and out of the harbor, supposedly of zincite for Deception.
That audit is yet to happen, although Sidwell has likely been given an extension due to the tragic murder of his son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).
But now, working to get some inside Sidwell intel for Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) asking questions.
Sidwell Keeps Sidestepping The Audit
It seems like Sidwell keeps sidestepping the audit, and when Lucy wanted to buy back his part of the company, he declined-his interest in Deception Cosmetics was not for sale! Maxie was suspicious, Tracy is suspicious, and now Lucy is suspicious-he’s shipping way more zincite than would be needed for Deception Cosmetics’ needs.
Sidwell has got to be hiding something, but the question is what; there aren’t that many products that use zincite, and no other companies in Port Charles use it.
The age-old mobster theory comes into play-is Sidwell using Deception Cosmetics like a shell company, hiding what is really in those shipments, and if so, what could it be? And not only that, the big question is who is the customer, or customers, and what is he really moving through Port Charles’ piers?
Cold Fusion Requires Minerals And Metals
Lucy, Tracy, and Maxie most likely won’t uncover the real product Sidwell is shipping, and most likely not the reason-unless Lucy does some very dangerous snooping! Cold fusion, involved in the completion of Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) last project, requires a lot of minerals, among them, palladium, which is a metal.
Chances are, however, with Sidwell having a ready supply of different drugs as well, he could be shipping a variety of illegal products under the guise of zincite, and he’s also smuggled diamonds.
However, with the amount of product he’s moving through the piers, chances are whatever it is, is related to the cold fusion project Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is required to complete. And that’s dangerous-and why Sonny has Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) keeping eyes on Lucy!
