In Neighbours, Glen Donnelly (Richard Huggett) lies about being in love with the Lassiters boss in order to get Chloe Brennan and Nicolette Stone (April Rose Pengilly and Charlotte Chimes) off his back.
Glen responds strangely around Kiri Durant, as both Chloe and Nicolette have noticed (Gemma Bird Matheson). They believe he’s weird, scary, and inappropriate, and they can’t figure out why he spends so much time with a much younger woman, so they’ve requested Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano), the vineyard manager where Glen works with Kiri, to speak with him…
What they don’t realize is that Glen’s odd behavior with Kiri is due to the fact that he is her father, and Kiri has no idea that her friend and coworker is also her father!
When he’s suspected of having affections for Kiri, Glen has to think quickly, so he tells Leo, Cleo, and Nicolette that he’s in love with Terese Robinson (Rebekah Elmaloglou)!
The deception appears to work, but Glen does not anticipate Terese discovering the truth…
Terese tries to let Glen down gently when Chloe recounts what Glen told her, but there’s an awkward moment when he tells her it was a lie and they both feign relief…
But are they just kidding themselves?
Do Glen and Terese secretly have feelings for each other?
Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) attempts to make things work with Corey Smythe-Jones (Laurence Boxhall), but she has to realise that they aren’t compatible.
She makes her decision after seeing Ned Willis (Ben Hall) out in the distance and gazing longingly at him, indicating that he’s still on her mind.
Corey takes being dumped well and the two agree to be merely good friends, but later he makes a cryptic phone call and informs the person on the other end that now that Harlow has broken up with him, they need to come up with a new plan.
What’s the deal with that?!
Meanwhile, Terese is enthralled by the excitement generated by Fashion Week and decides to go all out with a few extras to make the event the best it can be…
Montana Marcel (Tammin Sursok) is asked to approve her plans, but she seems unconcerned. The worldwide businesswoman appears to be more interested in getting plastered on wine than facing financial disaster and being imprisoned during Fashion Week!
