Fans have been given a behind-the-scenes look at the secret filming site thanks to cast members.
It’s not often that the cast of Home and Away leaves Sydney to film the popular TV show.
Fans were interested when cast members gave a behind-the-scenes look at the secret filming site.
For any interior scenes, the show is normally shot at Sydney’s Palm Beach, often known as Summer Bay, or the Eveleigh studio.
Marilyn Chambers’ actress Emily Symons, 52, teased fans earlier this week by posting an Instagram Story of herself walking in a hot pink dress and heels.
She captioned the shot: “Maz goes to the country,” along with a cherry emoji.
After that, the actress uploaded a behind-the-scenes photo from her beauty chair, captioning it “motel make-up day one.”
Ada Nicodemou, 45, was the next cast member to provide fans with some much-needed information.
Nicodemou, who plays Leah Patterson on the show, shared four images with her castmates Ray Meagher, Georgie Parker, and Lynne McGranger on Instagram.
Meagher portrays Alf Stewart, Parker portrays his daughter Roo Stewart, and McGranger portrays Irene Roberts on the series.
She captioned one photo, “Nice to be away filming together,” and a second, “Out on location shooting something very exciting”.
‘Where are you filming?’
Fans speculated in the comments about where the images were taken and what happened in the setting.
“I hope it’s not a fancy funeral location for Martha… Please tell me she is still in the show,” one fan said.
“Is that a church? Filming a wedding? Tane and Felicity’s wedding or is someone renewing their vows?” said another.
One fan inquired as to if they were posing at Iandra Castle, a farmstead 20 minutes from Young in NSW’s South West Slopes region.
“Where were you filming?” said a fourth commenter.
After posting an Instagram story in front of a sign that stated “Welcome to Young,” Symons revealed the filming location.
A spokeswoman for Channel 7 confirmed that filming is taking place in Young, NSW.
“Home and Away is currently shooting some location scenes in picturesque Young and its surrounding areas,” the spokesman told 7Entertainment.
“These scenes will feature in episodes screening on Channel 7 later this year.”
