SPOILERS: Home and Away have released a promo which features two characters who haven’t been seen in Summer Bay for years as they return for Justin and Leah’s wedding
Two major characters are returning to Home and Away.
The Australian soap released a promotional video of Justin (James Stewart) and Leah’s (Ada Nicodemou) wedding which shows two familiar faces at the event. As Justin sees Leah for the first time in her white gown, she walking down the aisle with her son, VJ.
Matt Little is reprising his role as the character for the first time in seven years, having last been seen in Summer Bay in 2017. VJ was forced to flee Australia to keep his daughter, Luc, away from her biological father.
Luc was the daughter of VJ’s former wife Billie Ashford (Tessa de Josselin), who died from lung cancer after being given just days to live. VJ raised Luc as his own, keeping her far away from Mick (Kristian Schmid), who raped Billie.
Also returning is Penny McNamee as Tori Morgan, Justin’s sister. Tori bid farewell to Summer Bay in 2021 with her husband Christian Green (Ditch Davey) and her daughter Grace.
Tori can be seen at the end of the promo, throwing confetti as her brother walks back down the aisle with his new bride. The sweet promo features Leah smiling as she is driven to the ceremony before being escorted from her wedding car by Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher).
Flashbacks of Justin and Leah’s relationship begin to play from over the last few years as Leah prepares to walk down the aisle. Justin can be seen in a white tuxedo, with Leah’s nephew Theo Poulos (Matt Evans) stood by him at the altar.
The couple are then shown exchanging their vows as their loved ones watch on. With the scenes set to air soon in Australia, UK fans will unfortunately have longer to wait.
On UK screens, Leah and Justin are attempting to rebuild their relationship following Leah’s breakdown. She recently returned from a mental hospital after threatening Justin with a knife. Later in the week, Leah lets Justin walk her home after dinner at his place.
They reach Leah’s doorstep but when he leans in to kiss her, she pulls away and asks him to stop. Justin is filled with regret, clearly having pushed Leah too far.
