Ari Parata’s (Rob Kipa-Williams) untimely death has left the community stunned and unsure how to help.
Theo (Matt Evans) and Ryder (Lukas Radovich) in particular have been eager to find a method to help Chloe (Sam Barrett) cope with her grief as she grieves for the man who was her father for the majority of her childhood.
Theo comes up with a brilliant idea for filming a tribute video to Ari, in which friends and family members individually speak a few things about him on tape.
They’re thrilled to have pulled it off and can’t wait to tell you about it. They should wait until Chloe and Mia are ready to see it, say Justin (James Stewart) and Alf (Ray Meagher).
Meanwhile, Chloe is finding it difficult to stay in the house, especially with Mia (Anna Samson) grieving over her late husband.
She goes outside for some fresh air and runs into Theo and Ryder, who are eager to show her the video. The memories of Ari brighten her up, and when Mia joins her in the Surf Club, she starts showing her the tapes.
Mia, on the other hand, is unprepared to be presented with such memories of Ari and lashes out at Theo and Ryder, accusing them of being self-centered and rude! The lads are taken aback; they were only attempting to assist, and now they appear to have made matters worse.
Later, Mia encounters Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Dean (Patrick O’Connor), who are each contemplating something.
They offer to set up an internet crowdsourcing campaign to provide the family with money if they need it after the funeral expenditures. Mia, on the other hand, scoffs at their offer and says she doesn’t want to help…
