This week on Home and Away in Australia, Eden pays Levi a surprise visit that could uncover his affair, while Leah and Justin’s wedding is back on!
For Justin (James Stewart) and Leah (Ada Nicodemou), life appears to be returning to some semblance of normalcy in the Morgan household, but is Leah prepared to make another significant move?
After leaving a mental health center and becoming so sleep deprived that she was holding Justin at knifepoint, Leah moved temporarily to Summer Bay House out of fear that she might relapse.
Although Justin couldn’t resist trying to move things along more quickly than Leah felt comfortable with, the two decided to go slowly.
After a while, Leah gained the confidence to move into her own house when her friend Valerie (Courtney Clarke) also moved into one of the spare rooms. Leah attributes Valerie’s words of encouragement, which they shared while living together at the clinic, with greatly aiding in her recuperation.
Justin understood when Leah told him she wanted to sleep in the other spare room for the moment, knowing that their shared bed had been where her nightmares had started.
However, last week Leah took the step of joining Justin back in the main bedroom, smiling with content as he took her into his arms.
Justin’s expectations have been further raised when Leah subsequently said that she got the best night’s sleep in months.
According to TV Week, Justin seems to have forgotten their agreement to “take things slow” once more this week and tells Leah straight out that he wants to marry her. Leah called off the couple’s engagement last year in an effort to get past her problems before she visited the facility.
“Leah is still cautious – everything has to move slowly,” Ada told TV Week. “What’s to say she won’t snap again?”
Leah can’t give Justin an answer straight away, and discusses things with Valerie who encourages her to take a chance.
“Val has lived with her own trauma for some time, but found a sense of purpose in wanting to help Leah renavigate life in Summer Bay,” Courtney added.
When Leah finds Justin at the beach, she approaches him with confidence and declares that she is prepared to become his wife.
The couple tells their acquaintances at the diner that they are engaged once more.
However, Leah remains quiet as Justin promptly returns to the wedding preparations. Does she already regret her choice, so we’re back to square one?
Also this week, as Levi (Tristan Gorey) continues his illicit affair with Mackenzie (Emily Weir), is he about to be busted by little sister Eden (Stephanie Panozzo)?
When Levi came to the bay as Mac’s cardiothoracic surgeon following her heart attack, no one had imagined that the two would fall for each other. Least of all Levi, who has a wife, Imogen (Georgia Blizzard), back home in the city.
When Levi finally disclosed that small truth, Mac was appalled because she didn’t want to be the kind of lady who ended another person’s marriage.
Having witnessed what mother Tanya went through when her father Rick (Mark Lee) played away from home, Mac is all too aware of the damage that extramarital affairs can do to a family.
Even though they decided to call it quits, Mac and Levi ultimately gave in to temptation, which led to the start of his second existence.
Eden abruptly contacted Levi’s motel room, almost causing the duo to be busted once previously.
Given that his sister has only recently resumed communication with him after more than 15 years of estrangement, Levi would rather not have her find out.
The siblings had first split up over their father’s adultery; after Levi moved in with their dad, 15-year-old Eden vowed never to forgive him.
Eden runs the risk of believing it’s a case of “like father, like son” if she finds out, which might lead to their relationship failing again.
Levi and Mac’s relationship has already caused a huge amount of stress between Mac and housemates Mali (Kyle Shilling) and Tane (Ethan Browne), who also have to keep the secret.
When Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) turned up at the farmhouse unexpectedly last week to find Levi there, she subsequently managed to drop him in it with Eden, who wondered why her brother had been in town and hadn’t come to see her.
Eden sensed that Levi wasn’t being completely honest when he said to be following up with some patients and had to head back to the city.
When Eden pressed Mali about Levi’s visit, he became agitated and yelled at her that he didn’t know anything, which fueled suspicions even more. Mali was trying to hide the affair.
This week’s trailer demonstrates that Eden isn’t ready to let go of Mali, as she follows him outdoors and keeps questioning him about Levi’s whereabouts.
“I just don’t know what you want me to say,” a frustrated Mali tells Eden as he attempts to get on with his work.
“I’m just trying to work out why my brother had time to drop in on a patient but he couldn’t text his sister for a coffee,” Eden replies.
Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) is quick to try and stop Eden upsetting the apple cart when she relays to him what’s bugging her, but once back at home, Eden decides to take things further.
Bringing a holdall out of her room, Eden announces to Remi (Adam Rowland) and Bree (Juliet Godwin) that she’s off to pay her brother a surprise visit in the city.
“Wait, so he doesn’t know you’re coming?” Bree enquires.
“I thought that I would surprise him,” Eden casually replies, before Remi asks whether she’s sure she knows what she’s doing.
When Eden pulls up to Levi and Imogen’s downtown apartment, Levi’s car is already in the driveway, and we hear Eden mention how excited she is to see her brother’s expression when she arrives.
Will Eden go through with her plan, and if so, will she somehow land Levi in it with his wife?
Home and Away has added a picture of Levi and Imogen together to its social media channels, confirming that we will get to meet Imogen for the first time in this week’s episodes.
Imogen is played by Georgia Blizzard.
Georgia previously appeared on Home and Away in 2016 as Stephanie Suttle, a girl who Evelyn McGuire (Philippa Northeast) tried to set up on a date with Matt Page (Alec Snow).
