Jodi Gordon, the former star of Home And Away, has reportedly checked into rehab after her ex-boyfriend, an investment banker, was forbidden from interacting with her for two years.
On Thursday, the Logie award winner, 37, and her former lover Sebastian Blackler, 31, agreed to an apprehended violence order (AVO) at Windsor Local Court over a “physical fight” on April 3 at a Kurrajong Heights bed and breakfast.
When their cases were discussed in Windsor Local Court on Thursday, neither Gordon nor Blackler showed up.
Their lawyers told Magistrate Leanne Robinson that the former pair had agreed to comply with AVOs prohibiting them from contacting each other in any way for the next two years.
They must not assault, intimidate, threaten, stalk, or harass one other, or damage each other’s property, in addition to not contacting each other in any way.
Gordon was then claimed to have attended a Sydney-based rehab clinic and was being treated for a variety of ailments, according to The Daily Telegraph.
There has been no accusation of misconduct leveled by either Gordon or Blackler, and no charges have been filed by the police.
According to court documents obtained by The Australian, NSW Police initiated an investigation after the soap actor reportedly struck her then-partner with a bottle of wine while he was suffering from swelling and bruising around his left eye.
Gordon reportedly had bruising around her left eye and bottom lip, as well as bumps on her forehead that seemed to be “days old,” according to the report.
“Police fear domestic assaults are occurring between the parties with Gordon’s consumption of intoxicating liquor exacerbating the violence,” the documents say.
“There is clearly domestic violence occurring between the parties (but they) are reluctant to disclose how the injuries have been sustained.”
Gordon played as Martha Mackenzie in Home And Away from 2005 to 2010, and then in the Underbelly series in 2012 and Neighbours from 2016 to 2020.
She was nominated for Popular Actress in 2009 and won the Logie for Popular New Female Talent in 2006.
The couple reportedly split in May of last year after being together for around six months.
