Home and Away star Mat Stevenson’s trans daughter hits back at troll after ‘dude’ jibe

The transgender child of Home and Away actor Mat Stevenson has retaliated against a hateful online bully.

On the Australian soap from June 1989 to March 1994, Mat, 53, portrayed Adam Cameron, a favorite of the audience. He then had a brief appearance in a 1999 episode of Summer Bay.

He is also the father of Grace Hyland, a social media celebrity and fighter for transgender rights.

The 20-year-old is a verified star on the social media site TikTok and has amassed an incredible 576.8K followers.

Grace responded in a little clip to a troll who called her a “guy” on TikTok on Sunday.

Grace was seen lip-syncing to the line “You are not on my level” in the six-second video, which also contained the sound sample Murder on my Mind. She was wearing a grey sweatshirt and her hair was pulled back in two bunches.

It happened after she reposted the troll’s “Bro, she’s a dude” comment.

Grace appeared in the final scene of the video sporting a full face of makeup, striking several glitzy positions, and donning a Calvin Klein bralette and a silky purple dressing robe.

“Replying to @lllllllllll560 #trans #lgbt #foryou,” she wrote as the post’s caption.

Grace has previously stated that she thought she was supposed to be a girl from the age of “four or five,” and that she just started publicly identifying as one at the age of 12.

Grace revealed on The Sunday Project with her well-known father last year how her transgender journey began: “I came out at 12 and then I went through a slow transition till I was 14 to grow my hair out, to get my name change dealt out, to work out my blockers.

When I was 14, I started fully appearing as Grace in public and at school, she continued.
