Home and Away star Nicholas Cartwright has revealed that his real-life sister Zara Zoe has joined the soap.
In a touching Instagram picture, the Cash Newman actor welcomed his younger sister Millie to Summer Bay ahead of her first episode as newcomer Millie, which aired on Wednesday (May 5) in Australia.
“I’m not sure if you’ve seen the promo, but my lovely little sister will be joining us this week on @homeandaway! I’ve never had so much fun on set before “Nicholas informed his followers.
“It was literally impossible to not look over at her and laugh with joy between takes. Such a wonderful moment to work with family in such a bizarre world. Welcome to the team @nottherealzarazoe! Tune in to see what we get up to.”
Zara is just as excited as her brother to be joining the Home and Away team. In a separate post shared this morning, Zara admitted to followers that she’d had “the best time” working on her first episode.
Alongside a series of promotional images of her arrival, Zara told fans to tune in “to see Millie crashing into the bay”.
Zara makes her dramatic debut when her character Millie is involved in a terrifying automobile accident with doctor Logan Bennett.
Although nurse Jasmine Delaney and her new-found half-brother, paramedic Xander Delaney, manage to stabilise Millie on the scene, things take a troubling turn after she’s brought to the hospital.
