How did James get into acting?
The multi-talented actor started out in music after joining the band george with his brother Nicholas and their bandmates Tyrone Noonan and Katie Noonan in 1996.
However, he left the band to pursue his acting career full-time.
Starting out on stage, James played Jim O’Connor in the Queensland Theatre Company’s production of The Glass Menagerie in 2007.
For his work, he received the 2008 Matilda Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Along with his siblings Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee), Brody Morgan (Jackson Heywood), and Mason Morgan, the actor joined Home and Away in 2015 as Justin Morgan (Orpheus Pledger).

He shares his daughter with his previous partner Jessica Marais. The former couple met on set of the TV series Packed To The Rafters in 2009.
Five years into their engagement, they announced their separation in 2015.
After the birth of their daughter, he gave up performing and started spending more time at home while Jessica worked both at home and abroad.

Yes, James is wed to Sarah Roberts, a former co-star.
They worked together on Home and Away when she debuted in the serial as Willow Harris from 2017 till 2021.
They announced their engagement in December 2018 and wedded the knot at Dublin’s Luttrellstown Castle.
Sarah explained that they flew to the other side of the world to have their wedding ceremony because her brother and mother live here.
