Inside Home and Away’s Steve Peacocke’s marriage to co-star Bridgette Sneddon away from Darryl Braxton

Steve Peacocke was a fan favorite on Home and Away for many years as he played bad boy Darryl ‘Brax’ Braxton.

While his character suffered from his relationships, from losing his greatest love Charlie Buckton to faking his own death, leaving his girlfriend Ricky to believe he was dead, his character also struggled with his relationships.

However, away from the soap, Steve is luckier in love after marrying his wife and co-star.

Who is Steve’s wife?

Steve’s wife is Bridgette Sneddon, the actress who played Sophie Taylor on Home and Away.

Her character was known as Dr. Nate Cooper’s wife and appeared on the show from 2014 to 2015.

She caused problems for Nate and many of his pals while on the show after instigating a terrible bus crash.

How did Steve and Bridgette meet?

After meeting and spending years together at theater school, the couple began dating even before she featured on Home and Away.

The pair were studying at the University of Western Sydney when they crossed paths.

When did they get married?

After becoming engaged on March 7, 2014, Steve married Bridgette in a private ceremony on December 24, 2014.

The pair had been dating for nearly a decade when they tied the knot.

After finding a priest from Australia’s Southern Highlands to officiate, Steve declared it the “greatest day” of his life.

They were accompanied by their loved ones, with Steve revealing that his wedding band is the last piece of jewelry he’ll ever own.

Do the couple have children?

The couple does not have any children. They are too focused on their work and spending time with one other to have children, according to Steve.

He went on to say that they had no intentions to have their first kid anytime soon.

What have Steve and Bridgette acted in?

Since leaving Home and Away in 2015, Steve has starred opposite Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the 2014 production of Hercules as Stephanos.

He played Nic in Tina Fey’s 2016 comedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and Nathan, a medical assistant, in Emilia Clarke’s Game of Thrones film Me Before You.

He returned to Australia after a stint in Hollywood and currently appears on the television shows Five Bedrooms and RFDS.

Bridgette has also appeared in two 2010 films, the first as Melanie in Chick-o-nomics and the second as Magda in The Black Dog.
