On Valentine’s Day, former Home and Away actor Johnny Ruffo paid a sweet tribute to his partner Tahnee Sims.
It’s also not the typical glammed-up, out-to-dinner photo that couples usually post to Instagram.
Instead, Johnny, who is battling his second battle of brain cancer, shared a sweet photo of the couple laughing, cuddling, and wearing identical beige bathrobes in what appears to be a hotel bed.
They look completely happy in each other’s company – true soulmates.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to this beautiful lady,” he wrote.
“Thank you for the laughs, thank you for taking care of me, but most of all, thank you for being you xxxxxx.”
In the comments area, Johnny’s followers poured their hearts out, expressing their love and support for the happy-looking couple.
“I love this … perfect love,” one follower wrote.
“Actually love you guys,” wrote another.
“Awww, love you both, good to see you both happy,” one fan said.
On Tahnee’s Instagram, she shared a lovely photo of the two wearing identical hotel slippers, with Johnny dressed in a black T-shirt and shorts and her in a hot pink shirtdress.
“My forever Valentine,” she captioned the picture, with three read love-heart emojis.
“You look so amazing here, what did I ever do to get someone so beautiful and amazing xxx,” Johnny wrote beneath the post.
“Hello lovely people,” Home and Away star Lynne McGranger wrote.
After his brain cancer reappeared in late 2020, Johnny gave his followers regular social media updates on his second health battle.
“It is with a heavy heart that I have to let you know that after an unexpected week of seizures and severe migraines, I now have another enormous struggle ahead of me as my brain cancer has returned,” he wrote after his diagnosis.
“Though I will dig deep and beat this s**t disease again.”
