In forthcoming scenes on the Channel 5 drama, Ned Willis will have a new love interest, and it appears that the ramifications of this romance could be life-changing.
In recent weeks on Neighbours, Ned (Ben Hall) has been slipping away from his girlfriend, Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton), as she slammed the brakes on their romance following the arrival of her difficult daughter, Zara Selwyn (Freya Van Dyke). As a result, it was only a matter of time before he chose to go on with someone else, although he may not have considered informing his sweetheart. Amy might find out when it’s too late, and her lover will become the father of the kid of the lady with whom he became pregnant, as is usual of the Channel 5 soap.
Ned gets lost during a vacation to the River Bend, which he takes with several other Ramsay Street regulars, in next week’s episodes of the weekday serial drama.
Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan), a woman with whom he has become closer in recent episodes, is with him when he abandons the group.
They try to get a signal on their phones as they lose track of where they are, but realize they are in the middle of nowhere and have no hope of being rescued.
Following the hostage incident with Levi Canning (Richie Morris) and newcomer, Gareth Bateman, there is increased concern about the missing individuals (Jack Pearson).
After the gunfight, Amy is one of the first on the scene and wants to know where her boyfriend is, but she has no idea he’s gone off with Harlow.
Amy enlists Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney) to assist her in her search for Ned, and the two set out into the night.
Ned and Harlow cuddle up as they continue to make their way back to the group as the air becomes colder and they need some warmth.
It’s not long until they find themselves by a waterfall, where they succumb to their chemistry in the romantic scene.
As the youngsters enjoy some fun together, what starts off as a kiss quickly escalates into the beginnings of an affair.
They are not apprehended, but they do return to Ramsay Street with the rest of the tourists, who are all stunned by the events of the journey.
Amy notices that Ned has lost interest in their relationship, oblivious to the fact that he has betrayed her by sleeping with Harlow.
When she confronts her partner about his coldness toward her, he fails to provide her with the answers she seeks.
Ned tells Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) everything that happened between him and Harlow, leaving Amy in a bind.
Zara enters the situation, knowing that something needs to be done, and she begs Ned to give her mother another chance.
He doesn’t want to be in a relationship with her anymore, but he is swept away when Amy makes a grand romantic gesture.
