Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) feels lonely without Ned (Ben Hall) and is still hurting from his deceit, so she seeks solace from the other man in her life. But he’s not her type, and it appears like she might go too far in Neighbours.

Ned’s decision to leave Ramsay Street after his connection with Harlow became public was a double blow to Amy. She was disappointed, especially after imagining herself she was pregnant for a brief moment. She’s having trouble dealing with the fallout, and in true Amy fashion, she’s about to project her negative feelings onto people around her.
Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) and Toadie (Ryan Moloney) are planning a romantic date night, which they don’t do very frequently. Mel is ecstatic, anticipating some alone time with her husband. Amy shows up to sabotage this special occasion.
Melanie’s situation appears to be terrible enough now that her date night has been ruined. Amy criticises Melanie’s revamp of the Drinks Diva, which just adds salt to the wounds. She even goes so far as to say she despises them, which are harsh words for Mel. Mel is taken aback by the criticism, but before she can completely comprehend it, she is handed a third blow: Toadie soothes Amy instead of standing up for her.
Melanie is furious, and alarm bells are ringing in her head. Toadie is so willing to defend Amy that she suspects something isn’t quite right. Melanie had always thought Amy and Toadie’s friendship was a touch too tight, but have they now passed the line?
Scenes will premiere on Channel 5 on Monday, May 16th.
