In Neighbours, Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) is devastated to learn that Ned (Ben Hall), the man who told her he loved her, has been having an affair with Harlow (Jemma Donovan). But that isn’t the only setback she is about to face.
So it’s out there — Ned and Harlow have been up to no good behind Amy’s back, and word of it got to the locals right in the middle of the fashion presentation. Amy is shattered, and Ned, who has been having his cake and eating it, is clearly the bad guy.
The fool, on the other hand, hasn’t learned his lesson and is still debating which lady he wants in the midst of Amy’s heartbreak. He seeks assistance from Roxy (Zima Anderson) but realizes he’s gone too far and that he can’t make it work with any of them.
Ned chooses to run away, which is the only thing he knows how to do. It’s time for him to leave all of the drama behind and allow the women he’s damaged to recover on their own.
Amy is bearing the brunt of it all and is completely exhausted. She had no idea what was going to happen. She starts to feel strange and notices small changes in herself, implying that whatever is happening on isn’t only about her breakup. Then Amy gets the news that she’s expecting a child.
She is devastated to learn that Ned has decided to depart.
Ned says his goodbyes, utterly oblivious to the fact that Amy might be expecting a child. Will she inform him, or will he unintentionally forsake their child?
