On UK screens next week, Rose Delaney of Home and Away makes a significant commitment to a life in Summer Bay.
Rose makes her decision after a challenging few days that have left her unsure of her options.
Rose and her brother Xander were recently observed arriving at the Bay. Jasmine’s world was turned upside down when the duo presented themselves as her long-lost siblings.
Rose realises she’s having trouble finding common ground with Jasmine in next week’s shows on Channel 5.
Xander is getting along with Jasmine much better now, and has even requested additional time off work to spend with her.
Rose reveals that she has changed her mind about living in the Bay since she feels left out.
Rose thinks the new family dynamic feels forced, and Jasmine is disappointed and encourages Rose not to give up so hastily.
Jasmine feels bad about causing apparent friction between Xander and Rose, who aren’t on the same page. Xander points out that animosity between them is nothing new as siblings.
Rose returns in the Bay later in the week, providing a glimpse of optimism.
Cash Newman, Jasmine’s lover, realises that Rose’s reappearance is motivated by safeguarding Xander rather than a renewed wish to bond with Jasmine.
Rose acknowledges as much, confirming her concerns about Xander’s sudden attraction to Jasmine.
When Xander considers applying for a paramedic job at Northern Districts Hospital, which would mean spending even more time with Jasmine, Rose is caught off guard.
Rose appears to be impressed by Xander’s degree of dedication and applies for a transfer to the Yabbie Creek Police Station.
Cash is ecstatic that Rose is putting up such effort, but will she and Jasmine still face difficulties?
