How far is Mackenzie willing to go?

Summer Bay is still buzzing with the flash and glamour of illicit poker evenings, with this week’s episodes proving to be the most explosive yet. Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) finds herself in an even worse situation, owing $150,000 to a mysterious player named PK. Mackenzie is approached by the sleazy PK, who offers to wipe her debt in exchange for sex, which she considers as she knocks on his hotel door.

Mackenzie has had awful luck with love, having been dumped by Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams) while pregnant and then having to deal with Logan’s ex Neve Spicer (Sophie Bloom) reappearing recently. Fans have wished for a happy ending for her, but she has kept Logan fully in the dark about her predicament, which does not bode well.

Felicity Newman, played by Jacqui Purvis, expresses her concern for Mackenzie, stating that she is the one who put her into the poker scenario. When asked if she knows how to play cards, the actress laughs and responds, “No!” I wish I was, because I think I could make a lot of money.”

Theo serenades Chloe

Something a little nicer is brewing on the opposite side of the water, with Theo Poulos (Matt Evans) and Chloe Anderson (Sam Barrett) finally agreeing to become a couple. Theo will whisk Chloe out for a romantic picnic, and fans will be in for a treat.

After murdering her father Matthew Montgomery (James Sweeny), witnessing the death of her stepfather Ari, and bidding goodbye to her mother Mia Anderson, Chloe has been going through some mental upheaval (Anna Sampson).

Matt was excited for this change, telling Yahoo Lifestyle: “The pairing of the two definitely bring out the good qualities in each individual. Theo always thought Chloe was super cute, and he couldn’t be happier that she decided to be with him.”

Matt Evans discusses the importance of bringing music to Summer Bay.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, music has always been his number one interest, which drove him to study a Bachelor of Contemporary Music in WA before appearing on Season 9 of The Voice. He recalls, “Music was all I wanted to do.”

“I hadn’t found my love or interest for acting yet, but things have changed rapidly. So to combine both of these worlds is a dream come true.

“One of the first things I said [when joining the show] was that I was really keen to bring music in wherever I can, and funnily enough they listened to me!”

When asked if he’s ever serenaded a female in real life, he admits to having done it as a teenager.

“It might sound cringe, but music was the easiest way I could express myself,” he confessed.
