On Home and Away, Karen Thompson (guest star Georgia Adamson) is reeling from the news that she has a little grandson, Jai Simmons.
Karen’s joy is short-lived, however, when her son, Dean (Patrick O’Connor), clumsily confesses that Karen is not permitted to see Jai due to her previous problems.
If Dean goes against Jai’s mother, Amber’s wishes, he would lose his own access to him.
When Karen is unhappy about the issue with Jai, John Palmer (Shane Withington) steps in as a friend.
Dean is carrying the burden of Karen’s previous mistakes.
She doesn’t want to put Dean and Jai’s relationship in jeopardy in any way.
But being cut off from her own grandson’s life is a little too much.
Is John able to offer some suggestions to lift Karen’s spirits?
