On Home and Away, Karen Thompson (guest star Georgia Adamson) is reeling from the news that she has a little grandson, Jai Simmons.
Karen’s joy is short-lived, however, when her son, Dean (Patrick O’Connor), clumsily confesses that Karen is not permitted to see Jai due to her previous problems.
If Dean goes against Jai’s mother, Amber’s wishes, he would lose his own access to him.
When Karen is unhappy about the issue with Jai, John Palmer (Shane Withington) steps in as a friend.
Dean is carrying the burden of Karen’s previous mistakes.
She doesn’t want to put Dean and Jai’s relationship in jeopardy in any way.
But being cut off from her own grandson’s life is a little too much.
Is John able to offer some suggestions to lift Karen’s spirits?
At Cash Newman’s trailer, Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) and her lover Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) are having some SEXY time together.

Felicity appears unexpectedly, bearing a bottle of champagne and glasses.
Jasmine’s birthday is coming up, and she wants them all to spend the day together celebrating.
Felicity must have missed the memo that Jasmine isn’t interested in making a big deal out of her birthday!
Felicity is keen to bring the pair into town and start the party.

Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) and his nephew Nikau are still on a camping trip (Kawakawa Fox-Reo).
As a result, Felicity is on her own.
Sure, she has to concentrate on her new work at Salt.
However, observing Cash and Jasmine’s growing romance threatens to make Felicity even more lonely…
