She’s the former star of Neighbours who went on to become one of Australia’s biggest music artists in the 1990s.
Natalie Imbruglia, who is three years shy of fifty, appears to have barely aged in the three decades since she rose to stardom.
Natalie shared a snapshot on Instagram to celebrate her 47th birthday, showcasing her youthful appearance in a smiling photo.
While she has kept a youthful appearance over the years, the brunette beauty admits that she still feels young at heart.
‘It’s my birthday!!!’ I’m 47 years old and still feel like a teenager!! She captioned the shot, “Thanks for the bday love.”
Natalie rose to fame in Australia after portraying Beth Brennan on the soap opera Neighbours from 1992 to 1994.
After the publication of her debut album, Left of the Middle, in 1997, she was instantly famous around the world.
Torn, her big hit track topped the charts and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
However, Celine Dion’s smash My Heart Will Go On defeated the former soap star.
She has since released six more studio albums, appeared in films, and served as a judge on The X Factor in both the United Kingdom and Australia.
Her most recent album, Firebird, debuted at No. 10 in the UK charts in September of last year.
Natalie gave birth to her first kid, a son named Max, at the age of 44, using IVF and a sperm donor.
She told the Spinning Plates podcast last year that she’d provided other women her personal phone number so she could offer them support during the arduous IVF process.
‘I think what’s important on the journey is to have support,’ she said.
‘So, if I ever meet even strangers at a dinner party and they’re talking about wanting to do IVF, I give them my number and say “ask me anything” because it would have been really nice to have that.’
