Tammin Sursok reveals her heartache as she’s kept apart from her children while filming interstate for three weeks

On Sunday, Tammin Sursok shared a frank Instagram post about her heartbreak.

The actress, 38, posted a selfie to her Instagram page with her two daughters, Phoenix, eight, and Lennon, three, explaining that she will be away from them for three weeks.

Tammin, who is filming in Melbourne while her kids are at school in Queensland, says she ‘won’t be entirely whole’ until they’re reunited.

The former Home and Away star, who is married to Sean McEwen and has two small daughters, tweeted a nice photo of herself at home with her two daughters.

‘I haven’t been away from my children for more than three days in eight years. I have always been able to make it work and have them with me. That is largely to do with my supportive husband who is able to conduct his business remotely,’ she began.

Tammin said that she understands the nature of the entertainment industry, being that you ‘take the jobs where they may be’.

‘I’m so grateful to be able to work and be on set as much as I have been. It’s also important to do what’s right for my children as they grow up. And that means them going to their school in a different state,’ she continued.

Tammin said she’ll be working in Melbourne for the next three weeks while her kids are at school in Queensland. She’ll pay them a visit on the weekends.

‘My heart feels like it’s outside of my body, and I won’t be entire until we’re back together.’ If you’ve ever cared for a child, you’ll understand how I feel,’ she wrote online.

The former Pretty Little Liars star is always open with her Instagram followers, stating in a previous post that January ‘isn’t her month.’

Tammin shared close-up footage of her swollen leg on her Instagram Stories after being stung by a hornet.

She also provided an update on her 45-year-old husband, Sean, who has been experiencing Covid symptoms for the past year after nearly dying from the illness.

‘I got stung by a hornet today. So I must have p**sed someone off in January,’ she began.

‘January just doesn’t seem to be my month but I’m manifesting that February is going to be amazing because I think that if you get it all the f**k out in January it can only go up from here.’

Tammin then showed a close-up of her swollen leg and stated that she is attempting to ‘think positive.’

After feeling sick in bed’ and mustering some energy, Tammin returned to her Instagram Stories hours later to give an update on her husband Sean’s condition.

‘So Sean’s going to the doctor right now. He might end up going to the hospital. He’s not feeling great. So [I’m] just keeping it together,’ she said.

Tammin was initially concerned that her husband would become ill with the virus again, but his test came back negative.

‘The good news is that his PCR test came back negative, which is a huge relief, but we’re still in the middle of a drama where we have no idea what’s going on,’ she explained.

Tammin explained: ‘His fevers gets really high in the middle of the night and then they sort of break in the morning.’

‘He has those weird Covid toes… If you’ve had Covid there’s like burning in your feet. No appetite, no eating but no loss of taste and smell.’

‘I would say he’s definitely doing better this time around. So that’s a positive. But it’s hard for your brain not to go down that other route’.

On their 10-year wedding anniversary late last year, the Neighbours actress paid homage to her husband and claimed he was on the verge of succumbing to the illness.

She wrote: ‘To dear Sean, on our 10 year wedding anniversary. We almost lost you a year ago. I remember driving down the street and my heart started breaking.

‘I don’t remember a memory without you in it. Without loving you, without us laughing or surviving or dreaming or needing each other. My memories are you.’
