EXCLUSIVE: An exhausted Tammin Sursok yawns as she films scenes for Neighbours alongside co-star Rebekah Elmaloglou in Melbourne

Since joining the cast of Neighbours earlier this year, she has been putting in a lot of effort.

On Monday, Tammin Sursok appeared fatigued while filming scenes with Rebekah Elmaloglou in Melbourne.

During shots on a bridge in Southbank, the 38-year-old actress couldn’t help herself from yawning in between sequences.

The former Home and Away actress sat on the ground and checked her phone at one point, deciding she wanted to relax.

Tammin sipped from a takeout cup of coffee in between scenes to keep herself awake.

As she waited for the show’s crew to set up the next shot, she appeared to be engaged in her phone.

The Pretty Little Liars star was dressed professionally, wearing a black miniskirt and matching black blazer.

Underneath, she wore a white satin camisole top and carried a huge black handbag in the crook of her arm.

Her long brunette hair was done in loose waves, and she added a splash of pink lipstick to her monochrome suit.

Tammin changed her black purse for what seemed to be her own brown designer tote in between scenes.

She wore pink-rimmed reading glasses and brought a white folder with her.

Tammin was accompanied by Rebekah, 48, who wore a magenta shift dress underneath a black coat.

In between scenes, she carried a beige and black handbag and, like Tammin, sipped a takeaway coffee.

They appeared to be filming close-up shots, and both Tammin and Rebekah were dressed casually and comfortably.

Tammin wore teal-colored loafers, while Rebekah wore red and white striped slides.

Tammin checked her reflection in a tiny mirror at one point, and Rebekah smiled beside her.

She retouched her makeup in front of a group of crew members who chatted with her while she concentrated on her face.

The two women filmed on the bridge next each other, with a boom operator holding a microphone above them.

They appeared to be rehearsing in between scenes, with Rebekah holding a script with her lines underlined in front of her.

During a break from filming, Tammin was also seen leafing through a script and staring down at the white papers in her hand.

Last month, it was reported that Neighbours’ future was in risk as Channel 5 stated it would no longer air the show.

According to a story from TV Tonight at the time, work on the long-running soap was halted, and the cast was summoned to a meeting.

‘As stated in the email to Neighbours cast and crew, if another broadcast partner comes forward, it is our aim to maintain our affiliation with Neighbours,’ a Network 10 representative told TV Tonight.

‘Network 10 remains committed to the show, its cast and crew, and hopes that Fremantle will find a new production partner.’ We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.’

A Channel 5 representative told Digital Spy last month that the network was focused on ‘expanding our investment in original UK drama.’

According to a report in The Sydney Morning Herald, Fremantle Media executive producer Jason Herbison claimed the show would be’rested.’

‘Our audience is stable, and Channel 10 would love to keep the show going if we could find a new broadcast partner to replace Channel 5,’ Herbison wrote in an email to colleagues last month.

‘These conversations are ongoing, but there is currently no new broadcaster, therefore production must come to an end, effectively putting the show on hold.’
