Home and Away Spoilers – Marilyn reports Logan for malpractice

In next week’s episode of Home and Away in the United Kingdom, Marilyn continues to alienate those around her by filing a complaint against Logan, while Bella’s new career plan comes to a halt.

Since coming up from her coma, Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) has felt like a new woman, with a personality transplant that has perplexed both her friends and medical specialists.

Marilyn was rushed to the hospital after Mackenzie (Emily Weir) discovered her collapsed on the grass, unable to move, after being outside all night. When the paralysis extended to her lungs, Dr Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner) had to place her into an induced coma.

Marilyn’s illness was attributed to a delayed reaction to the organophosphate poisoning she received during the chemical attack at the surf club, but Logan couldn’t explain why she was experiencing these particular symptoms.

Marilyn had been admitted to the hospital for observation after the incident, but Logan had given her the all-clear when her tests came back normal.

Marilyn was taken out of sedation the following week, and it was discovered that she could now breathe on her own, but her legs remained paralyzed. That is, until she miraculously recovered and walked out of the hospital the next day without saying anything!

Marilyn’s body appears to be returning to normal, but her mind is a different story, as indicated by her sudden turn towards ex-husband John Palmer (Shane Withington) and demand that he leave her hospital room, despite the fact that the two had previously been on excellent terms.

Marilyn, who had been invited to stay with Irene (Lynne McGranger), caused havoc by being harsh with Irene and Jasmine (Sam Frost).

Marilyn, who was having trouble sleeping, kept the house awake by meditating with a singing bowl before bringing a bottle of brandy into the house, despite the fact that Irene was a recovering alcoholic. Marilyn responded that Irene’s inability to control herself was her problem, not hers!

After Irene called her out for flirting with Detective Darren Nasser (Julian Maroun) during Marilyn’s first shift back at the cafe, Marilyn got fed up with Irene’s mollycoddling and proclaimed that she was returning home to Summer Bay House.

Irene visits Marilyn this week and discovers her dancing with a bottle of wine. She asks whether she may discuss about the diner roster, but Marilyn is unconcerned about it because she no longer works there. This comes as a surprise to Irene, as a feisty Marilyn declares that she will use her talents elsewhere.

When Irene asks Ryder (Lukas Radovich) to come home early from work to keep an eye on Marilyn, he arrives to find her inebriated. When Marilyn agrees to spend the evening on the sofa, she reveals an unexpected sensitivity when she asks Ryder if he may stay with her until she falls asleep.

Ryder spends the rest of the night sitting on the floor, holding Marilyn’s hand.

The next day, Marilyn informs Ryder that she requires his assistance in establishing her new business—tarot card readings outside the cafe, much to the amusement of Ryder and Irene.

Logan pays Marilyn for a session after hearing about the recent findings and uses it to test her memory and coordination.

Logan, on the other hand, can’t keep the sheep out of Marilyn’s eyes, and she soon figures out what he’s up to.

Marilyn is furious with both Logan and Irene for their betrayal, and the two of them meet with Mackenzie for a debriefing, where Logan explains there’s nothing else he can do unless Marilyn returns to the hospital voluntarily.

Marilyn, on the other hand, takes things a step further by filing a formal complaint with the hospital regarding Logan’s treatment of her. She claims he was irresponsible in allowing her to return home after her initial observation period, resulting in her catastrophic collapse and induced coma.

When Mackenzie calls to try to persuade Marilyn to drop the complaint, Marilyn informs her that her judgment has been clouded by Logan’s performance in the bedroom, and then urges her to go!

Marilyn turns to Leah as one of the few individuals she hasn’t yet alienated, despite the fact that barging into Leah and Justin’s bedroom after admitting herself into the house surprises them. The fact that Marilyn and Leah’s chat lasts all night, much to Justin’s chagrin, also plays a role.

Leah feels she’s finally getting somewhere with Marilyn, so the next morning she offers her apartment as a place to stay, knowing she won’t be left alone if Ryder is at work.

Soon after, Justin receives a frantic phone call from Leah, who informs him that she is boarding the next airline to Cyprus because her son VJ is in the hospital!

Justin is taken aback when he arrives home to discover Marilyn waiting for him, but even more so when she informs him that she will be staying with him while Leah is gone…

Bella (Courtney Miller) continues to cause chaos in her new work at Salt in Summer Bay, and Mackenzie knows she needs to get rid of her, but she doesn’t know how!

When Mac sees Bella selling wine to a customer, she’s outraged since she doesn’t yet have her RSA competency card, and if caught, they’ll both face large fines.

That evening, Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Dean (Patrick O’Connor) see Bella’s ability as a waiter when Ziggy’s dinner is spilled into her lap unexpectedly.

When Mac returns and discovers the truth, she becomes enraged and tells the pair that she has no idea how to fire Bella.

Dean offers to do the work for her, thinking he’s on a roll after being forced to fire Ziggy from his surf classes a few weeks ago, which went far better than planned. Mac enthusiastically accepts!

When Dean invites Bella back to the farmhouse, he states flatly that Mac wants to fire her, but tries to spin it in a good light by pointing out that Bella clearly despises her work.

Bella, instead of being relieved, breaks into sobs and collapses onto the couch in a full-fledged meltdown.

“Why doesn’t anything ever work out for me?” she screams. “I don’t fit in anywhere!”

Dean and Ziggy can only look on in shock, what have they done?!
