Home and Away Spoilers – Leah faces her fears at Justin’s funeral

Next week on Home and Away in the UK, Leah is forced to face her worst fears, as she’s told to say her final goodbyes to fiancé Justin.

When Leah is ordered to say her final goodbyes to her fiancé Justin on Home and Away in the UK the following week, she is forced to confront her deepest fears.

It wasn’t until Justin attempted to flee and suffered serious injuries that Leah was able to leave the workplace and receive assistance.

When Justin arrived at Northern Districts Hospital, it was discovered that he had internal bleeding, broken ribs, and a punctured lung. However, Bree (Juliet Godwin) informed them that he was too frail to have surgery and that they would have to wait for him to stabilize.

But when Justin started to rapidly worsen, Bree realized that was not an option, and in order to offer him any chance of survival, she had to take him into the theater.

Despite the successful surgery, Bree informed Leah that Justin’s problems were far from over. Due to the anesthesia and his significant blood loss, Justin was now at a higher risk of experiencing organ failure.

Bree informs Leah of the most recent blood test findings the next week while she continues to keep watch at a comatose Justin’s bedside. Things don’t seem good; Justin’s cardiac function has decreased, raising the possibility that he may have suffered cardiac damage.

To look into this further, they’ll need to do an echocardiography, but nobody will be available to do it until the next day.

Reluctantly, Leah gets out of bed the next morning when Bree tells her that the police are there to do further inquiry.

Leah, on the other hand, is horrified to discover Justin’s room deserted when she gets back. Bree tries to reassure Leah that Justin has left for the scan as she runs to find her. Leah promises never to leave Justin’s side again when he eventually comes back.

More grim news is revealed by the echo results: Bree tells Leah that Justin really has acute heart failure and that their options for therapy are running out.

Although they would prefer to get Justin back inside the theater, they are unsure if he could withstand another anesthetic. Because of this, the only thing they can do for now is attempt to use medication to restore Justin’s heart function in the hopes that he will soon be well enough to undergo surgery.

But Bree has to let Leah know that she should brace herself for the worst—Justin’s heart is failing faster than ever, and it’s time for her to consider saying goodbye! Leah tells Justin that she won’t let him go and that he must disprove their assertions, refusing to even consider the possibility.

Bree later asks Leah if she’d like her to call anyone, but Leah doesn’t want to at this point. Theo eventually makes his own way to the hospital and Bree brings him up to date on the situation.

When he then goes in to see Justin, Leah admits that she didn’t phone as she wouldn’t have been able to say the words out loud.

Theo is emotional when Leah reveals that she proposed to Justin, and he tries to put a positive spin on things by saying he can’t wait for the wedding.

With no improvement, Theo later suggests that it’s time to ring other members of Justin’s family, such as his daughter Ava (Annabel Wolfe), but Leah again refuses.

“Having other people in the room isn’t gonna change anything,” Leah snaps. “Justin is dying and nothing is gonna change that, what part of that don’t you understand?!”

The following morning, as Alf (Ray Meagher) returns from his most recent journey to Merimbula, Leah exits Justin’s room briefly to squirt herself with water and sobs. Weeping, she falls into his arms.

Leah tells Theo that he should definitely talk to Justin right now if he has anything to say, as they sit at his bedside.

After saying a sincere goodbye and thanking Justin for everything, Theo notices that Justin is not feeling well and the machines begin to ring.

While Bree rushes to save him, Justin gets a vision of himself in a church surrounded by mourners.

Justin quickly realizes that he’s at his own funeral after seeing a picture!

When Bree returns to reality, she is able to stabilize Justin but she also reveals that his heart is deteriorating. Her request for Leah to return to Justin’s room confirms that this might be it.

In Justin’s vision, he sees Theo singing while a heartbroken Leah sits in the front row. Despite his best attempts, Theo is unable to establish himself with either of them.
